Dolgam is a family
farm and is situated in the Snowdonia National Park on the A5, 4 miles from the centre of Betws-y-Coed
towards Capel Curig. There is a bus route running past the site, giving access
to the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed, and the magnificent peaks of Snowdonia.
There are numerous attractions within easy reach, with Betws-y-Coed, Caernarfon, Llanberis (Snowdon), Beddgelert, Porthmadog, Anglesey, Llandudno and Conwy (to name but a few!), all within 40 minutes drive.
There are ancient castles at Caernarfon, Conwy and Dolwyddelan, steam railways including the Ffestiniog Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway, the famous gardens at Bodnant, and much more.
Walkers, climbers and mountain bikers are spoilt for choice with mountains, forests, and wooded valleys waiting to be explored. One of the paths up the mighty Moel Siabod starts just down the road. The Marin mountain bike track is close to Dolgam. Bike cleaning facilities and secure bike storage are available on request.
Fishing is also available on the river Llugwy which flows through the campsite.
